In a similar vein, I can KINDA get what they're saying since I refuse to write in books, like college SAYS I'm supposed to, and I'm like, "But, but, it's a BOOK. I CAN'T WRITE IN A BOOK." It's a weird complex.

Otherwise, I do agree with you if it's a used book that otherwise has no use other than being, well, used for something besides reading.
