So.... Christmas has come and gone. Here, some updates. Monday: Went to the mall, and searched for items necessary for Domino cosplay whilst my parents shopped at Penney's. No luck on the boots. There were really high white ones in Gadzooks and Journeys, but they were the bondagey stilletto type. Icing had a hat, but it was too small. There WERE gloves in Icing, but they were $18 (WTF?) Oh, and I got the cards that blackjackrocket sent me. Meowthness all around. Tuesday: Watched Nightmare Before Christmas, so that I might get in the spirit. Apparently I am the only one at school who considers Nightmare a Christmas movie. But it is. Wednesday: Made like, a zillion new icons. And lost them all, due to my larcenous male fraternal unit (read: i have a klepto brother) Thursday:Utterly forget what all went down. Friday: Chrismas Eve. Went to my aunt's, as family tradition dictates. I got lots of sweet loot: some Happy Bunny mints, a Hello Kitty wristband, a coupla other HK thingies, loads of yummy chocolate, a Hover Copter, and FFI and II: Dawn of Souls, for my GBA. Found FF to be wildly addictive. My god. I think Pikachu's got some serious competition in the GBA timeshare department. Saturday: Christmas morning, but for some reason unbeknownst to me, parental units of the Neku failed wrap gifts, so we didn't get to open them. Went to Mass. It was great, were it not for the fact that our parish's priest insists on singing the mass. It's hard enough for me to sit through church, what with my ADHD and all, but when the pastor sings the entire eucharist (and he does sing quite well), it really gets difficult, as it adds a good 15 minutes to the service. Later that evening, went to Grandma's house. She bought me a peace choker, some really great lipgloss, and a few bracelets for Christmas. Sunday: Went over to a friend's house. We did a hypothetical "Jessie and James vs. Ash" battle on Stadium 2 (J&J won), then, in a pleasantly Rocket-y mood, watched Mewtwo Returns, and I quoted along with all of Domino-chan's lines. Then we played Snap and threw Pester Balls at the Vulpix, laughing our heads off the entire time. Failed to open presents again, because I was gone most of the day. Monday: Finally opened gifts. I got a new CD player, a new (defective) stereo, some CD's (Relient K and Switchfoot, woot), an uncut Sailor Moon tape, some Avon lip balm, a couple (yeh, you read that right) HK wristwatches, and (FINALLY!) Pokemon Leaf Green. I chose Squirtle as my starter, for some reason. Could someone please tell me, what the hell is up with those Rattata on the way to Viridian City? I swear, they're freakin VICIOUS. If I ever catch one, I will name it Bishasu, since that is exactly what they are. And I love the PokeDude show on the Teachy TV! Even though I already know all the stuff that's on there, it's just so awesome! "Remember, a good deed a day will put a smile on your face" Words to live by.
