What I hate the most is that people are saying they like this because it's "character development".
except you know, stuff that's ooc/ruins a character's purpose isn't character development, and that's an excuse I've seen OOC/Mary Sue writer use when called on their bullshit.
This is character development the way Harry becoming a Death Eater would be character development.
