Homecoming!!!!!!!!
Oct. 11th, 2004 01:20 pmWell, last week was spirit week, so I will now detail my adventures in spirityness. Monday: Pajama day Nothing truly interesting happened today, except we all got to wear pajamas. Oh, and Kevin looked like Harry Potter. But that's it. Tuesday: Rock Star Day I dressed as Amy Lee, and had the whole Goth thang goin. Brit and Hesixu were Jpop, Magus was Wierd Al, and everyone else was.........something Wednesday: Walkathon Pointless. See Walkathon entry. Thursday; Country Western Day. I didn't have anything country, so I went with plan B: COSPLAY!!! Basically, I dressed like a pokemon trainer would, what with the gloves, pants, long sleeved shirt, fleecy vest, and a bandana. Retrospectively, I looked a bit like Domino before she revealed her true identity- if Domino was a hippie. Friday: Red White and Blue day. I was up all thursday night catching up on my journal entries for Costello, so I was rather unspirited that day. Later I went to the homecoming game to apprentice in videotaping under Magus, and nearly got whomped in the head with a football. Then Magus got three football players piled up on him. And I was behind him. Ouch. To make things worse, it was all over the news the next day. Saturday- Homecoming Dance. Before I left for the dance, I watched Mewtwo Returns, since, lacking a friend of boy, I was unable to eat out with the rest of them. My dress was big, long, and gothic, with bell sleeves and a scarf at the waist. Now about two weeks before HC, I decided it would be far cooler to cosplay as Domino, but unfortunately I could not find said costume in time. Besides, I wouldn't look good in it. But while in dollar tree, I found these really dark purple silk tulips- they almost looked black. So I bought them and carried one with me during the dance. And no one got the significance. Anyways, the dance rocked. Sunday- went to Waterman's to "help" with sibling's boy scout function. Spent my time lost in the corn husk maze. Subsequently stayed up all night working on Helbing project.
