I like cemeteries.

Which I thought would be a huge drag, but it turned out to be awesome. They chose a park filled with trails. And if there's one thing Neku likes, it's walking around on trails, listening to music, and just taking everything in. It's very relaxing and soothing. So I ended up finding a trail that led to a cemetery with all these really old gravestones... Apparently, the founders of Greenwood were buried there. Whoa. Anyway, it wasn't a paved trail like the others, either... it was just the most beautiful thing in the world. Just a tiny footpath, big enough for one person, and it wove through these trees past a stream. I'm not kidding when I say it was basically something out of a fairy tale or something. And it ended at this gorgeous meadow that was the back of the old cemetery. The first time I went on it, I had to skip the cemetery, because I'd end up missing lunch... so after I ate my pizza, then went back over there. When I say there's nothing more beautiful than an old cemetery, I'm not kidding. Old gravestones are works of art, with these angels, or trees, or ornate crosses... some of them are even big stone benches you can sit on (and I did, actually). They're nothing at all like the impersonal chunks of granite you get these days (and if my family gets one when I die, I swear I'll haunt them for the rest of theire lives- EW.) I wish culture these days was that accepting of death- but no, instead of planning and comissioning these beautiful monuments, we have ugly slabs we can just forget about. No personality at all. And if you want to hear something really creepy, I was walking back to the park, and I randomly heard this bit of old music. I have Panic at the Disco on my MP3 player, so I thought it might be that, but no, it was off, and I was the only one out there. So yeah. Creepy, but cool. I also bought Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for my DS that evening (only $20!)... guess death was a recurring thing. AWESOME GAME. Anything that can pull me away from Pokemon for more than an hour is DEFINITELY worth buying. If you like fantasy/horror.. you owe it to yourself to buy it. Or weapons. So many weapons.
I need to write some more fanfic; tell me if you have any ideas, especially for R100. I need plot bunnies. (Although I was thinking about a story where Wendy finds out she's been making people fill out paperwork to do stuff so much that she has to fill out paperwork to do paperwork. Inspired by The Office, which I've been watching lately. Actually, I could do a great Office parody fic with Wendy and Giovanni if I tried. Maybe.)
