Ookay... sorry I haven't posted for a while ya guys, I've been busy as hell editing a video for my World Civilization class and have spent any time I have reading and posting comments on my friends respective journals. Magus gave me a Hamtaro plushie for christmas on monday. Thanks again, Fuzzy. The real gift was the brilliant innuendo we came up with. Second thing: MEMES! Memes stolen from blackjackrocket  to be exact, as I have nothing better to do with my life than steal memes apparently.

Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?

Less. And i'm talking, stuff I'm actually willing to release.In other words, total crap. Right now, I'm thinking of 'Wilted Tulips' which features the now infamous (to me, at least) suicide hotline counselor Gio trying to talk Domino out of killing herself over a failed mission. And the "Ash joins TR" fic (sounds like 7th Heaven, gone Rocket), and a couple more.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2004?
If you count Confessions, a bit of Diamondship (but I'm a diamondshipper anyway, so I suppose that doesn't count).... Brock and Domino. Almost. But then I realized it sucked. But I may write it again, only better.

What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Confessions. Definitely confessions. It rocked.

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
Writing my (never finished) Christmas fic, "A Team Rocket Christmas" Originally planned to be a ROTFLMAO worthy fic, which parodied both Pokemon/TR cliches AND A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Christmas Story, and anything else excessively aired on TV come December. Not to mention that it had a nasty jab at CommandShip in it. I may reuse that joke in the future, it was the only good thing in it. After page four though, it went a bit downhill.

Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Write more comedy... I have an excellent mind for satire. Sure, ATRC was a massive failure, but I can learn from my mistakes. Angsty isn't bad... it's just that a lot of my fics are along the lines of, 'I am evil, therefore life sucks' and were kinda big downers.

 

Well.... I have been intending to post this for a while.. so here it is. SATIRE! YAY!

3. Nintendo will finally extract its head from its ass and realize that we DO want online play.
2. Sony will get over its blood feud/ cold war with Microsoft and stop trying to replicate its successes
And the number one prediction:
1. The secretary of defense will announce that the weapons of mass destruction are not hidden in Iraq; they're in Kanto, hidden under the Viridian City Gym. Upon failed negotiations with Giovanni, Bush drops bombs over Kanto.

Yep... Two items of random crappy satire just to get to one decent pokemon themed one. The thing is, I came up with it about a week ago, but didn't know how to fit it in without making look random and out of place. Gotta admit though, if you get the joke, it is funny. Mmm.. satire. But it does sound like something bush would do... I can see him declaring war on an imaginary continent to wipe out an imaginary criminal. God knows he's stupid enough. Ahem, end political rant whatnots.

 

Posting wise, this all you'll probably see in the next week.... I have finals and will be insanely  busy studying. Check back  next Friday, I'll probably have something. Ta ta.
