James Cosplay FTW

So I cosplayed today, as promised... Once you get past all the jerks making the Rocket Power jokes (ahem, Chris), it was pretty darned fun. The wig behaved most of the day, and I got compliments from teachers who probably didn't even have the faintest idea who I was. The funniest one was from my Religion teacher; she was all "Nice hairdo". It made me want to puke and laugh nervously at the same time. A few people were all, "Why didn't you go as the girl?" Well, there's two reasons. One, no one would ever get away with Jessie cosplay at a Catholic school (I was pushing it last year with Domino as it was), two, I lack the necessary bust size, and three, James cosplay's just... hotter. Also, Neku+miniskirt=death. Not a pretty sight, I assure you. I even got strawberry milk at lunch (Chimecho episode dialogue/paint edit reference... go to Dogasu's comparison's if you don't get it.). You know what? It's actually quite tasty. I may switch from chocolate if I get addicted enough to the stuff. Oh, and there was another guy today dressed as Ash (with an IU hat, but close enough). He had Torchic and Mudkip plushies sticking out of his backpack, and when I went to get a picture of him for the newspaper today, I asked if he borrowed him from a little brother, and he's like, "No, they're mine" He seemed like he'd normally be embarrassed, but wouldn't, just because I was wearing a James costume.. I really need to ask this guy to the dance, though. I didn't know we had all that many Pokemon fans here, but obviously, he was one.

In other happy news, the archbishop let us off next Monday because the Colts are in the Super Bowl! Woohoo! Our principal's not real happy, though- the last two days on announcements, he's been all "I'm disgusted and dismayed to tell you..." and I guess he thinks it's sending us the wrong message. So now he's trying to force us to make it up, which is really lame... I mean, come on, the freakin' Colts... I'm not even that much into football, but what are the odds we'd ever see THEM in a Super Bowl? Besides, it lets all the kids party all they want Super Bowl Sunday and not have to stress about any tests. Not that I'm that much of a football fan, like I said, but still... if they can get us a day off school, I'm all for them. Thank you, overpaid professional athletes! ^_^. 

I wrote two more fics for Rocket100. Aubri, you should swing by and check them out... one of them's about Nekou.

And yeah, I totally agree...Jessie cosplay at a Catholic school is a no-no.

Unfortunately, I checked around, and word is he's taken. :(

But that's fine. I'd be busy anyway getting pictures for the newspaper on Saturday evening anyway, given our teacher tends to just pounce on anyone with access to their own digital camera when the need comes up. The actual ones we have in the room are PoS cameras. I mean, they still use floppy discs...
