So, weekend was boring. I would have written more for rocket100, but unfortunately, I had 1) writers block and 2) the crack that is MD. Goodwill was having a half price sale, so I went over there and got some pants for my upcoming James cosplay. Now all I need is the top, the wig, the gloves...

Sunday, I went to Target, looking for a blue wig for my costume. They had one, but it was the wrong shade (almost navy) I'm wondering if there's any way to dye a wig... I'm sure there is, though.  Also, they had three GBA games I'd been wanting to buy on clearance- Zelda: The Minish Cap, WarioWare: Twisted, and Dynasty Warriors Advance.  Zelda and WarioWare were $7.48 each, and Dynasty Warriors was $5. So far, I'm really liking Dynasty Warriors. Apparently, warfare in ancient China involved effeminate males, scantily clad women, and rock music. I can dig that.

Today in health, all the girls were in the library watching a breast cancer video. Our teacher, however, forgot there was a college presentation, so we're watching this bit on self-exams, and these students all come in. The guys are just staring at the screen, not realizing they'd be seeing a bit more than just a college presentation, and we're all laughing our heads off. And this was for a CATHOLIC college. Yeah.

So, if anyone knows any tricks with wigs, just tell me...

Well, I'm 80% sure that I'm positive you could probably dye the wig, but first you should try some other places. Do you have like a Party City or something near where you live?

In my hometown they just opened up a place called The Halloween Store in the old gateway building that's a year round costume shop. I went there the last time I was home from college, and they had an entire WALL of wigs. Every kind of wig you could dream of. I don't know if there are any Halloween Stores elsewhere or if we have the only one, but you could look around for a local one. Good luck.

The problem with Halloween stores is that they charge too much. But I've heard good stories about the party stores, and that they're affordable, and yeah, we've got one in Indy, so it's worth a shot. I'm kinda almost broke right now, so I'm trying not to spend any more $ than I have to.
