This is Halloween...

So, yeah, Halloween.  I decided to go as Gothic Vampire Chick, instead of cosplay. I know, you're all so disappointed. But it's been a while since I got to do my creepy vampire makeup, so I had to. Don't worry, I'll post pictures for you all to see. Because it's REALLY impressive. 

And apparently, it's now the fashionable thing to say "Halloween's a stupid waste of time, and it should be abolished." To those people: Go crawl under a rock tomorrow night, okay? Because you're no fun and take life WAAY too seriously, ya commies. Also, does anyone else think "Trunk or Treat" is totally STUPID? For the uninitiated, that's where a bunch of people gather in a church parking lot, and open their car trunks, and kids trick or treat IN THE PARKING LOTS to get candy from the said trunks.  I mean, first they go and do "Fall Festivals," which was fine, because at least they weren't making any claims it was Halloween, but now we have Trunk or Treat, which is basically Trick or Treating without the fun, sanitized so that evil man you saw on Dateline won't rape your kids or anything. Really, people these days are sheltering their kids so much they don't know what fun is and they're missing out on childhood. It annoys me to  NO END.

Nekou finally snapped in BRHQ, by the way. If you've not joined yet, now's the time... to my fellow members, what did you think of the scene? Were you shocked, or anything? Because reading back over the bit where she nearly tried to beat the snot out of Buson... wow. I'm pretty shocked. This normally quiet, obedient girl going totally insane... Yeah. And I wrote it. One of those rare times my writing surprises myself. And I wonder if that ever happens to anyone else...

I thought it was a very good scene, and I was like, yay, ok, stuff's happening and this is cool.

The only thing is, it's kinda weird cause I'm Buson...and I don't know just exactly what Buson's done to her. ^^;; heheh. Or Bashou, for that matter, other than they apparently captured her and something bad happened. So, if you could fill me in on their past offenses...? That would be great.

Remember when Nekou was flashing back earlier about when she was found (after getting the amnesia)? Yeah. Buson was one of the guys torturing her. I thought that was implied. Bashou means nothing to Nekou though. Except she might think he's kinda cute.

And he can be a jerk, too. But remember, Nekou's (kinda) his little sister, at least in appearance. And I like making evil characters care sometimes. At least until Nekou's abilities come out (I should be evil to her and write that, shouldn't I?). He just didn't seem particularly evil to me in the Red Gyarados episodes. Except when he was doing the Gyarados stuff. Hell, he didn't even taunt the twerps that much (not like Domino-Lisa and I are POSITIVE she was flirting with Ash in that cell scene). It was more like "well, they're intruders, and we have to deal with them." Tyson was the evil one there.

Oh, k. I have short term memory loss, so I temporarily forgot that flashback I guess. Gotcha. ;)

And I replied just now, so when Bashou says what he says, he's saying it not because he was there but because he's backing his partner up. I'm not sure I made that clear enough in my entry.
